303 SPORTING

This was a Belgian development in the early 1970’s by Michel Baikrich, who was the owner of Fabrique d’armes ” l’Arquebuserie” – Liege, Belgium from 1972 to 1982. The 303 Sporting was made by shortening the case, as well as lowering the shoulder position of the existing 303 British and was produced as a result of post-WW2 legislation against the use of military calibers in sporting weapons as was common in many European countries after WW2, including France and Belgium. It was also loaded by the French firm of Nolasco.
