6.8 X 28R SCHULHOF SHORT

This cartridge is based on the 7.65x28R (8mm Schulhof : T44) necked down which is described as a “P” type in the c1900 RWS/Utendoerffer catalog. Most commonly this was used in the Austrian Schulhoff Target pistol which was originally designed in 1884. (Erlmeier, Brandt Ref. 39). This cartridge was also popular in Czechoslovakia where it was listed as a Tesching and it was listed after WW2 until c1950.
