7.5 X 53.5 SCHMIDT-RUBIN M.90/23

The Swiss Cadet Corps were still using rifles chambered for the old M.90 and M.90/03 round, but as ammunition stocks became limited, a run was produced by Patronenfabrik Solothurn as can be seen by the ‘S’ on the headstamp as a redesigned version compatible with the old rifles during the latter part of 1923, hence the classification and into 1924.
