This was the (sort of) rimmed version of the 458 Express 3” above and was developed in 2008 for hunters who wanted a double rifle with the same ballistics. There used to be some rivalry between Prof. Badenhorst, the inventor of the 458 Express 3” and Ken Stewart who worked on parallel type projects at the time.
