Dummy version
This cartridge is a scaled down version of the 11mm Gras. It was intended for a Carbine designed by Bronne (although one is not known to exist) and most likely intended for use in the BATTALIONS-SCOLAIRES. Although produced by both Gevelot (with no hs) and SFM (SFM hs). Marie-Gustave Bronne, Gunmaker of Liege, Belgium that operated from 1865 to c1890.This is now a rare calibre, Buttweiler believed that this exists in less than ten examples. This calibre was also shown in SFM factory drawings dated 1905 (late? Or perhaps 1904 as Buttweiler states). Meyer thinks that this was produced c1890.
A blank or adaptor cartridge was found in the SFM collection
