The 338 Headhunter is the longer case version of the 338 Razor and was designed by Alaskan ELR shooter Pro Martusheff, owner of Precision Rifled Ordnance who goes by the internet name of Swamplord. The Headhunter was designed as a single shot precision rifle to outperform the 338 Edge with low BC 300 grain bullets. The case design is new and not based on any existing design, with a rim diameter the same as the 338 Edge or any of the belted 300 Win Mag range of cases, but with a larger body, making the rim slightly rebated. It was specifically designed to work safely in the Remington 700 or Winchester M70 actions. Cases are made by RCC Brass.
