Cartridge manufactured by Georg Egestorff, Linden, Hannover Germany which commenced with the production of primers in1858 and ammunition in 1868. It was renamed LINDENER ZÜNDHÜTCHEN UND THONWAAREN FABRIK VORMALS GEORG EGESTORFF ABTEILUNG ZÜNDHÜTCHEN UND METALLPATRONEN FABRIK AG in 1872. Egestorff generally produced ammunition designed by the other German companies such as Lorenz, Utendoerffer and Stahl.
